Registration and Onboarding

NowToPrint keeps signup short and assigns access on the server. Onboarding asks how you will use the platform; it does not ask you to buy or choose a package.

Signup and identity

This version uses email and password registration. Signup collects the person's first name, last name, email, password, and legal consent. Company, tax, team, membership, and pricing questions are not part of signup.

After registering with email and password, follow the email-verification screen. Use its resend option if needed. When you have verified your email, use the option to check verification and continue. Your dashboard and onboarding remain closed until verification is complete.

If a network interruption leaves the result unclear, keep the tab open and retry using the action shown on screen. If your account was already created and the page directs you to sign in, use that account instead of creating another.

Registration passwords must have 8-128 characters, an uppercase letter (A–Z), a lowercase letter (a–z), a digit and a non-space special character. The form shows these five conditions separately.

The strength indicator is advice, not approval. Registration also checks the breach corpus on submission. A match recommends a different password; an unavailable check states that the result could not be verified. Both are warnings and permit registration when the format requirements are met. The identity provider's mandatory requirements still apply. Password resets, password changes and administrator-created accounts retain their own enforced breach checks. Validation and server errors move focus to the first field that needs attention so the problem is reachable by keyboard and assistive technology. The password itself is never included in error, analytics, or audit output.

Producer and supplier candidates do not gain quoting, publishing, public listing, invoicing, or other producer/supplier authority merely by registering. The dashboard explains the review state and next profile steps.

Advanced memberships are not purchased or self-applied for. The platform may invite eligible accounts after evaluating operating history, participation, quality, expertise, trust, compliance, and other risk signals. Exact scoring, thresholds, and anti-abuse controls are not public. An invitation never creates authority by itself: independent approval, acceptance, a valid time window, and the current security policy are still required.

Membership access can expire, be revoked, or be reassessed. There is no recurring membership package price at launch, but transaction, service, logistics, payment/financing, and optional service fees may apply.

Separate self-service registration for material and equipment vendors is not currently available. Select Print shop / Producer to apply as a printer.

Workspace and account summary

Individual customers can leave the workspace name empty; a workspace is created from your name. Corporate customers must enter an organization or workspace name. This step does not verify a company or approve special corporate permissions.

Review your membership summary on the next screen and select Save and continue. When Your workspace is ready appears, you can continue to your account.

Completion and session continuity

After onboarding, the browser refreshes your session with your current account and organisation details. Normally you do not need to enter your password again.

If this step is temporarily unavailable, select Try again. This retries session setup rather than creating another organisation. If your identity can no longer be verified, follow the sign-in prompt. A safe continuation returns you to the relevant page.

Platform roles

Public signup never creates a platform administrator. A normal verified user may receive a separately reviewed platform-role request. A different platform owner must approve it, and privileged operations must pass their current authentication and approval requirements. The current launch uses recent primary sign-in for reviewed business actions; stricter emergency/recovery actions remain separately controlled.

Resume unfinished setup

Reloading in the same tab preserves your account type, organization name and setup step for 24 hours. The draft is scoped to the same user and contains no password or permissions. Setup remains usable when browser storage is blocked, but the draft may not be restored. It is cleared after account setup and the replacement session are verified.

The print-shop waiting or rejection screen links to the relevant organization’s application. A suspended producer role can contact support. Buyer access is separate and still depends on an active account and current buyer permissions. Producer approval is separate from company verification, pricing setup and the first quote. If a step’s status cannot be loaded, use Refresh status instead of entering your details again.
