Quick-Start Guide

Create an account, describe your print requirement and check an existing PDF. Timing depends on email verification, your file and any required review; this guide does not promise production approval within five minutes.

Get Started in 5 Steps

Create Your Account

Open Register and enter your first name, last name, email and password.
Read the legal information and complete the required acknowledgements.
Use the email-verification link. If it does not arrive, use resend on the verification screen.
After verification, follow the screen's continuation action.

New self-service registration uses email/password. Google is not a new-account shortcut around verification.

Create an Organisation

In onboarding, choose individual customer, corporate customer, agency or print shop/producer. An individual can leave the workspace name blank to derive one from their name; other choices require a workspace name. Review the server-assigned membership summary and save.

Customers receive baseline purchasing access. A Producer Candidate does not receive production or quoting authority merely by selecting that usage type. Wait for the session refresh after setup. If a connection fails, retry the same step rather than creating another account.

Create Your First Design

Prepare artwork in your source application or choose an existing PDF. The quote flow describes a product and requirement. Old template links can redirect there; do not assume an embedded blank-canvas design editor is currently available.

Edit Your Design

Check finished size, page count, image quality, spelling and product-specific bleed in the source application. Export PDF/X-4 where appropriate, without treating the label as proof of conformance. Keep both the source file and original PDF.

Use PDF Tools to inspect the file evidence under the selected profile. Fix content problems such as missing fonts, insufficient effective PPI or absent bleed artwork at source and export again.

Send to a Print Shop or Download

State quantity, size, paper, finishing and delivery requirements in the quote request. Compare offers actually received from eligible producers by scope, price and timing. A response or a quote within 24 hours is not guaranteed.

Accepting a quote starts the order-creation flow; it does not release production. Payment/credit terms, current file/preflight readiness, any requested approval and production handoff remain separate checks. If a PDF tool offers output download, verify which document it generated. A download is not a PDF/X conformance certificate.

Design Studio

The current PDF Tools surface inspects and prepares an existing PDF using explicitly offered operations. It is different from the artwork editor described in older guides. The workflow canvas edits processing steps rather than text, shapes or images inside the PDF.

Preflight Check

Read the actual check scope and unresolved evidence. Effective PPI, bleed, fonts and color intent depend on the job and profile; there is no universal automatic 300 DPI/3 mm acceptance rule. An information note alone is not a warning. A clean file check does not automatically release an order into production.

RFQ (Request for Quote)

An RFQ is a request for quote. Describe the job, attach files through the offered step, compare received offers and accept a suitable one. Sharing an attachment is separate from inspecting a local PDF.

Knowledge Check

A workspace is established through onboarding and server membership, not granted as unlimited authority on first login.
A PDF check assesses evidence against its selected profile; it does not approve price or payment.
Choosing a producer usage type does not bypass review and permissions.

Is it free?

No recurring membership package price at launch does not make every tool or service free. Transaction, service, logistics and payment/financing fees are disclosed in their workflows. Server PDF processing has separate access requirements.

How many designs can I create?

This guide grants no unlimited design or storage quota. Read the limits and actual result of the relevant tool.

Are my designs secure?

Local browser processing, server upload, order attachments and shared approval links have different boundaries. Review sharing scope, keep a source copy and read Security and Privacy.

Can I download as PDF?

Where a tool generates output, use its offered download control. Exporting a PDF from its source, selecting an input and downloading a transformed result are separate steps.

Do I have to choose a print shop myself?

Evaluate the quotes actually received and make your choice. Matching and automatic bids are not guaranteed; the producer's permissions and suitable capacity also matter.
