Design Studio
Legacy artwork reference and current source-PDF preparation boundaries.
This section is a reference for legacy artwork documents and print preparation. The public artwork canvas, document creator and design-template gallery are currently disabled. The available PDF Studio/PDF Tools inspects and prepares existing PDFs; it is not a blank-canvas text, shape or image editor. A stored design model does not enable an editor or certify its output.
Academy: The Two Faces of Digital Design
| Property | Vector content | Raster content |
|---|---|---|
| Structure | Paths and text/glyph instructions | Pixel samples |
| Scaling | Geometry can retain sharp edges | Detail depends on pixels at final size |
| Typical use | Logos, lines and text | Photographs and textures |
PDF and SVG can also contain raster images. A filename alone does not prove vector content; a JPEG logo is not automatically unusable if its effective resolution is sufficient. Check the actual exported content and print size.
The RGB and CMYK Reality
Screen RGB and printed color depend on different conditions. Source RGB, CMYK, named spot colors, ICC profiles and OutputIntent must be interpreted for the selected production route. A screen simulation is not a certified proof. Do not promise a particular paper appearance or automatic color conversion.
Studio Features
The retained document model can describe text, images, rectangles, ellipses, lines, groups and structured variable bindings. This is a document vocabulary, not evidence that the old tool panels are available or that every renderer supports every object. VDP helpers are separately bounded; the public bulk-VDP surface is disabled.

Export and verification
Quick Start
- Open your artwork in the source application that owns it, or retain the original legacy document for an authorized compatible workflow.
- Confirm finished dimensions, orientation, bleed artwork, safe area and the intended product.
- Correct text, fonts and images at source; export an appropriate PDF, retaining the original.
- Inspect the PDF in Preflight, read the applied profile and unresolved evidence, and follow the stated next action.
- Use the quote flow for a print request. A clean file check is separate from payment, proof and production-release approval.
There is no current Dashboard New Design, automatic print simulation or Ctrl+S artwork-save procedure promised here. Older template addresses redirect to the quote flow.
System Requirements
Use a current browser and follow the selected PDF operation's feature/resource limits. No verified universal WebGL, GPU or 8 GB requirement is established for the closed artwork canvas. File admission is not a memory or speed guarantee.
See PDF Tools and Keyboard Shortcuts for current behavior.
