What is Edge Hub?

Edge Hub is a helper application that runs on a Windows machine inside your print shop. It does three things:

1. It checks files locally. A customer PDF is inspected on that same machine before it reaches the press: bleed, embedded fonts, colour space, total ink coverage, mixed page sizes, encrypted or damaged files. The file does not have to be uploaded to the cloud to be checked.
2. It keeps jobs in a queue. If the internet connection drops, work is not lost. Sync resumes when the connection comes back, and a job that keeps failing moves to a separate list to be handled by hand.
3. It connects to your NowToPrint account. Edge Hub on the machine and your print shop account in the panel are paired with a one-time code, so your equipment and job status show up in the panel.

How to join the pilot

The pilot runs with a limited number of places. Leave a request on the Edge Hub page and we will get in touch to talk through your machine, your print server and your workflow. We do the installation together — you are not expected to install it alone and work it out by trial and error.

The only thing we ask during the pilot is honest feedback: what does not work is recorded just as carefully as what does.

What we do not promise

We do not write a sentence here that we cannot back with evidence. Not true today:

• There is no public signed installer download link.
• There is no support claim for the print servers marked "roadmap" above.
• We do not promise a fixed efficiency or waste-reduction percentage. We share the real numbers we measure in the pilot, and where we could not measure, we say so.
• Edge Hub does not convert your colours, flatten transparency, or invent missing content. It measures, reports, and only applies fixes that do not damage the file.
