Where Should I Start?
Documentation access layers
Help uses public, authorized and engineering access layers. The viewer's signed-in role controls discovery and body access; a link or section title grants no operational permission.
For a print file, begin with PDF Standards, Colour Management and Resolution. For an integration, begin with API Overview, Partner Authentication, Rate Limits and Error Codes. The technical Authentication guide describes browser sessions rather than an OAuth/API-key setup procedure.
Quick Reference
| Check | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Resolution | Effective image PPI at final placed size; threshold and coverage from the chosen profile. |
| Colour | Matching output intent/ICC and a producer-approved RIP plan; no general automatic RGB/spot conversion promise. |
| Bleed and safe area | Product, finishing and profile requirements; 3 mm is a common example, not a universal minimum. |
| Fonts | Embed permitted fonts at source; missing embedding requires review rather than an assumed platform substitution. |
| PDF/X | Choose the version supported by the producer; metadata alone is not verified conformance. |
| Studio document intake | 200 MiB / 500 pages in the shared standard profile; queues, transports and runtime memory/work budgets apply separately. |
A low-resolution image can pixelate, missing bleed can expose white edges, and missing fonts can change appearance in a downstream renderer. Correct the source according to the actual issue and profile. Preserve live transparency for a compatible PDF/X-4 workflow; validate any required legacy conversion separately.
