Auto-Bid is a future automation capability, not a live controlled P0 pilot promise. During the P0 pilot, eligible suppliers submit quotes manually through the canonical marketplace quote flow.
Disabled in P0
Automatic quote submission, automatic price acceptance, and background Auto-Bid dispatch are disabled for the controlled P0 pilot. The platform may prepare structured pricing evidence, but no supplier quote is published without the supported quote workflow.
Current Pilot Behavior
1. Creating a Request
The buyer creates an RFQ with product, quantity, material, delivery, and file-readiness details.
2. Eligible Supplier Visibility
Only approved pilot print shops with the required access and standing can see the opportunity.
3. Manual Quote Submission
The supplier reviews the RFQ, prepares the quote, and submits it through the canonical marketplace quote action. Internal cost details remain restricted to supplier or admin roles.
4. Buyer Comparison
The buyer compares submitted quotes in a standard format and selects a quote when ready.
Future Gate
Before Auto-Bid can move beyond draft status, it needs separate public-scale approval for pricing policy, supplier opt-in, audit/outbox proof, abuse controls, recovery UX, and monitoring evidence.
