A Request for Quote (RFQ) lets you describe a print job once and receive competitive bids from multiple verified print shops simultaneously.

How an RFQ Works
Posting an RFQ
From the Marketplace dashboard click "Post RFQ". The wizard guides you through each section.
Upload a print-ready PDF or design file. The system runs an automatic Preflight check. Fix any errors before proceeding.
Provide accurate technical details:

Choose a realistic deadline. Longer lead times attract lower prices because suppliers can schedule during available capacity.
Click "Publish RFQ". Matching suppliers are notified immediately and the bidding window opens.
Bids arrive within 24 hours. Compare price, supplier rating, and delivery date. Click "Accept" to confirm the order.
Writing a Good Specification
The quality of your specification directly affects the quality (and price) of quotes you receive.

Evaluating Bids
When reviewing offers look at:
- Total price including delivery
- Supplier rating (verified reviews from past buyers)
- Delivery date — does it meet your deadline?
- Samples available — some suppliers send physical samples
Do not choose on price alone. A slightly more expensive supplier with a 4.9 star rating is often the better business choice.
After Accepting
- The print shop receives your confirmed order automatically
- You receive an order confirmation email with a tracking link
- The order moves into Production status on your dashboard
- You receive shipping and delivery notifications
