Saved rectangle, ellipse and line geometry with source-artwork preparation guidance.
The legacy artwork canvas is disabled. Use this reference to interpret a saved design or prepare artwork in its source application; it does not provide a current drawing toolbar. PDF Studio's preview controls do not draw new artwork.
Core Shapes
The retained design model describes rectangles, ellipses and lines. It does not establish separate polygon/star, editable Bézier-path, quick-heart or Boolean-operation tools.

Creating a Shape
In a source tool that supports the required shape, choose document units and final dimensions, create the geometry, then inspect the exported PDF. Use that tool's own modifier keys and controls. The old R/E/L/P, Shift/Alt drawing and Space-to-reposition shortcuts are not current NowToPrint canvas commands.
Fill and Stroke
Saved colors describe DeviceRGB or DeviceCMYK components and optional ICC/opacity information. Base objects can carry fill, stroke and stroke width. These properties do not establish a gradient/pattern editor, dashed/dotted stroke menu or print-safe color conversion. Match color intent and technical separations to the production route.
Rectangle Settings
A width equal to height represents a square. The rectangle model has a single optional corner-radius value; four independent corner controls are not established here. Verify rounded artwork and trim requirements in the source application.
Ellipse Settings
Equal width and height represent a circle. The retained ellipse object does not define start/end angles for the advertised pie-slice or arc control. Construct such artwork in a source tool and verify its exported representation.
Line Settings
A line has two endpoints with optional base stroke data. Arrow/circle/square decorations are not guaranteed object options. Check minimum line weight for the selected process at final size; a screen pixel value alone is not a production measurement.
Polygons and Stars
The old 3–50 side/point and 10–90% inner-radius ranges are not supported product limits. If your source application creates these shapes, retain the source and confirm that its exported PDF preserves the intended paths.
Editing Shapes
No current double-click point editor or Union/Subtract/Intersect/Exclude toolbar is established. Perform required construction in the owning application; review overlaps, clipping and transparency in the exact output PDF.
Quick Shapes
Checkmarks, arrows, hearts and stars are artwork examples rather than an inventory of an available NowToPrint library. Check their license and actual vector/raster content before reuse.
Tips
Keep the source dimensions and version. Inspect the PDF at final scale, confirm trim/bleed and run the applicable preflight. Geometry changes, proof and production approval remain separate steps.
