This guide covers all features of the text tools. It includes the essential knowledge needed for professional typography.
Adding Text
New Text Box
Click the T icon in the left panel or press the T key on your keyboard.
Click and drag on the canvas to define the size of the text box.
Click inside the text box and start typing.
Font Settings
Font Selection
NowToPrint includes 500+ professional fonts:

Font Upload
You can upload your own fonts:
- Go to File → Upload Font
- Select a
.ttfor.otffile - The font is automatically added to your library
Important: Make sure the fonts you upload are properly licensed.
Typography Settings
Basic Formatting

Text Styles
Create text styles for consistent designs:
Creating a Style
Configure the font, size, and colour settings you want.
Click the Save Style button in the right panel.
Enter a meaningful name such as "Heading H1" or "Body Text".
Preset Styles

Text Effects
Shadow
X Offset ........... Horizontal offset
Y Offset ........... Vertical offset
Blur ............... Blur radius
Color .............. Shadow colourOutline
Add a stroke around text:
- Thickness: 0.5pt - 10pt
- Colour: Any colour
- Style: Solid, dashed, dotted
Special Characters
To insert a special character:
- Go to Edit → Insert Special Character
- Browse by category or search
- Click a character to insert it
